PJ is an international opera director based in London.
PJ graduated with a first-class degree in music and performance from the University of Leeds, where he held a scholarship supported by Opera North.
He was awarded a BBC Performing Arts Bursary to train as a director at Scottish Opera. In 2015, PJ was listed as ‘one to watch’ by the BBC and has since worked on productions at the Royal Opera House, Glyndebourne, Opera North, Welsh National Opera, Opéra de Lyon, Den Norske Opera, Den Jyske Opera, Garsington Opera and Polish National Opera.
